Registration

  • Non-member registration includes one full year individual membership in the Preservation Trades Network.
  • Includes dinner, Askins award & the world-famous PTN auction!
  • Includes the reception & pub crawl on Friday and the dinner and auction on Saturday only. Does not include attendance at any other part of the event. Must be purchased along with a standard event registration.
  • Students must supply a current student ID when picking up registration in order to qualify.
  • Student volunteer includes pub crawl and Saturday night special
  • The RRP refresher course will provide the training to earn your RRP re-certification, required by the EPA when working on houses containing lead paint. You need recertify every 5 years. This 4 hour course is limited to 10 participants.

    Please note that if you live or work in any of the following states who administer their own programs you will need to verify with them to determine if the course will meet their particular requirements; Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.

IPTW 2014: the 18th annual International Preservation Trades Workshop - "Kickin' It Old School"
Belmont College, St. Clairsville, OH
September 12th & 13th, 2014

Join us for the 18th annual International Preservation Trades Workshop at Belmont College in St. Clairsville, OH  There will be a great line-up of outstanding demonstrators and workshops. Friday evening will include a reception at the River City Aleworks followed by a History (& Pub) crawl in downtown Wheeling.  Saturday evening will see a return to Wheeling, this time at the Capitol Theater for the dinner, Askins Award and of course the world-famous PTN auction. Our demonstrators this year will be in the areas of: Business, Carpentry/Historic Joinery, Decorative Finishes, Masonry, Metalworking, Plaster, Stained Glass, Roofing/Timber Framing, Windows & Doors. 

Pre-conference workshops will include a complete RRP (Renovation, Repair & Painting) Lead Safety EPA workshop as well as two refresher workshops for those who will be needing an update as they approach the 5 year mark.

New this year will be the "Trade Olympics"
where teams can demonstrate their skills in a timed event.

It will be very important to book your hotel early as the region has a great deal of oil & gas activity and rooms can sell out quickly.
